A time to gather stones:

Today we can build the Third Temple in accordance with the prophecy of Ezekiel

Ezekiel 45:2

KJV:

2 Of this there shall be for the sanctuary five hundred in length, with five hundred in breadth, square round about; and fifty cubits round about for the suburbs thereof.

NASB:

2 "Out of this there shall be for the holy place a square round about five hundred by five hundred cubits, and fifty cubits for its open space round about.

The wall thickness is not indicated here. This is no accident. It turns out that much more can be derived from the missing parameter than if the thickness were indicated here. If the wall thickness is not indicated, then half of the wall segments are located in the territory belonging to God, and the other half of the segments are located in the outer territory. Otherwise, it turns out that the size of the territory alienated for the construction is not defined and is not limited by anything.

The architectural solution to build a wall in the form of zigzags allows you to have free access to measure the estate of God and the width of the external trading area without taking into account the thickness of the wall. At the same time, we determine the width of the wall by analogy with the walls of the Temple, their thickness is set in the prophecy of Ezekiel. If the wall of the Tabernacle has a thickness of 6 cubits, and the thickness of the walls of the outer part of the Temple is 5 cubits, then we use the same ratio to determine the thickness of the outer wall of the estate of God. The thickness and height of the wall around the temple complex is 1 reed (6 cubits), so the outer wall should have a thickness and height of 5 cubits. Such an architectural solution for the wall provides 144 ledges of the wall along each side of the estate of God (see Ezekiel 42:15-20).

Ezekiel 45. Ezekiel's Temple. The size of the estate of the Lord God, the width of the trading area.
